Wellington Fire Department and Carbon County Paramedics responded to a motorcycle crash Thursday on U.S. Highway 6. Utah Highway Patrol said the driver of the motorcycle was passing another vehicle on a two-lane section of Highway 6. The driver reportedly chose to drive off the highway as oncoming vehicles made the completion of the pass impossible. The motorcyclist sustained a head injury and minor injuries to his arms. A state trooper at the scene said that improper passing is one of the greatest factors contributing to collisions.
