Carbon basketball player Megan Garvin does her part to cut down the net after the Carbon girls basketball team defeated Morgan High School on Saturday night at the E-Center in West Valley to take the 3A state championship. This was the second state championship for a girls team at the school this year, which equals the total number of girls state titles ever won before in the entire history of the school. This also gives the school its third state team championship this school year (they also won in boys diving) and the spring sports haven’t even begun yet.
