Letter to the Editor: Why not a star

As a graduate of Carbon High School and a supporter of Carbon athletics to this day, I still pay attention to your publication via internet while I am living in Idaho. I was excited to hear about the girls basketball team finally winning the 3A championship because they deserve it. However, I was disappointed in the front page picture displaying a certain Carbon athlete cutting down the net. Was that athlete even part of the game, because I noted that in the article about the game, her name was not mentioned in the article. Was she the only one who was allowed the opportunity to cut down the net? I would have much preferred to see Morgan Warburton, the MVP of the tournament, cutting down the net. Or at least an athlete who had something to do with the game.
