Louise Starich


PRICE – Louise Starich returned to her heavenly home Sept. 17, 2005.
She was born Nov. 6, 1914 in Cleveland to Erick R. Erickson and Matilda S. Christensen. She married the love of her life, Dan Starich, on Aug. 15, 1935. The marriage was later solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogos LDS Temple.
Lue loved music and poetry. She played the piano by ear and could play a mean ragtime. She and Dan loved the outdoors and spent many days either in the mountains fishing or on the San Rafael, exploring. She was an elegant lady and was always particular about herself and her home. Her family was her life and she gave much to make their lives happy.
Lue is survived by daughters, Shirley (Bud) Fausett of Price; Claudia (Jim) Cox of Lehi; nine grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also survived by brothers and sisters, Isabell Wing, Ruth Child, and Erick Erickson Jr., all of Price; Carl Erickson and Ronald Erickson, both of Moab; Dora Washburn, Kearns; and Glendon Clark, Mesa, Ariz. Preceded in death by her sweetheart, Dan; parents; brothers, Maynard, Harry, Russell, Von and Donald; and sisters, Marie, Leona Rice and Edna Chandler.
Graveside services will be Saturday, noon, at Price City Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior at Fausett Mortuary, 680 E. 100 South, Price.
A special thanks to the staff at Heirloom Inn, who took loving care of “Miss Lue” the last while.


Mary Kilgore


SPRING GLEN – Mary Hampton Kilgore, age 79, passed away Sept. 20, 2005 at her home while surrounded by her family.
Born April 25, 1926 in Price to Lafayette and Mary Martha Helquist Hampton. Married Alfred Kilgore May 15, 1943 in Price. He died Oct. 16, 2003.
Mary enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, traveling and crocheting. She enjoyed spending winters in Quartzite, Ariz., and spending time with family and friends.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Rocky Mountain Hospice for all their great care and time spent with Mary.
Survived by two daughters and two sons, Trudy Lee, Price; Susan (Dennis) Norman, Salt Lake City; Wesley, (Lyn) Kilgore, Magna; Bob Kilgore, West Jordan; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; special friends, Poncho and Trixie; Nel (Ruth) Genereaux; Mark (Tracy) Howes and Mike (Michelle) Barker. Preceded in death by husband; parents; brothers and sisters; and special friends, Robert (Marie) Chubbuck.
Funeral service Friday, Sept. 23, noon, at Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Thursday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery, Helper. In lieu of flowers family suggest contributions to Juvenile Diabetes Association in honor of Mary.


William Gresham Sr.


FERRON – William Thomas Gresham Sr. passed away Sept. 18, 2005 in Ferron.
Born May 8, 1921. He married his sweetheart, Virginia Carol Hughes. She passed away March 26, 1985.
William enjoyed watching Jeopardy and sports on television, his favorite sport being football. He also enjoyed listening to his oldies music.
Survived by children, Michael Gresham, Sharon Gresham, Linda Owens, Debra Howard, Larry Gresham and William Thomas Gresham II; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by son, Darrell Gresham; and parents.
Graveside services will be Saturday, Sept. 24, 1 p.m., at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 S. Vine Street. Family and friends may call from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St.
