Deputy county clerk Sulika Merrell reviews the information on Utah’s voter registration form. Carbon residents may register to vote in the Oct. 4 municipal primary elections at the clerk’s office in Price through Sept. 26. Satellite registrations are scheduled Sept. 23 and Sept. 26 as well as Oct. 28 and Oct. 31 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the clerk’s office and in East Carbon City. Residents who have moved to different precincts, who failed to vote in the last general election or who recently turned 18 years of age must complete the process in order to cast ballots in the municipal and PRWID elections. Local voters will decide the city and PRWID races at the general election polls on Nov. 8.
