Born Sept. 13, 1937 at Crane Maternity Home in Provo, to George “Jud” William Manson Sr. and Wilma Virginia Crane.
Childhood summers with beloved Crane cousins spawned his love of hard-working ranchers of Circleville and Antimony where many good times were spent chasing cows, elk and trout.

As a young man using his talents as a skilled mechanic and driver, he built a successful business running a fleet of diesel trucks supplying several uranium mines.
Retirement in Santa Clara had been a delight, with many hours spent in his “Putter Palace.”
Throughout his life he was well known for his mechanical inventiveness, meticulous maintenance, repairs and skilled hand with tools.

Our Superman Has Passed
The one who cheered us on.
The one who scared our socks off.
The one who always helped us be strong.
The one who couldn’t pass a stranger in need.
The one who gave you an adventure
Every time you were with him.
The one who could fix anything.
The one who was loved by everyone he met
Because they knew he loved them.
The one we want to be like.
The one whose heart broke because he
Gave it all away.
The one we can’t wait to be with again
So we can go on another adventure.
Matt, We love you.
