Lila Saracino


PRICE/California. – Lila Lee Wilson Saracino, age 77, passed away April 15, 2005, in California.
She was born March 5, 1928, in Price to George Benton Wilson and Hanna Christina Nielsen Wilson. Married Antonio Saracino Nov. 16, 1953, in Elko, Nev. He died Oct. 25, 1977.
She was in real estate, then later graduated from Holy Cross Hospital School of Nursing in 1949. She was a R.N. For over 40 years and she loved every minute of it. She worked at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake.
Survived by daughter, Leslie Johanson, Wellington; two sons, Morris and Barbara Saracino, Calif.; and David Saracino, Salt Lake. Also survived by six grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, one brother, six sisters and one grandchild.
Funeral services are pending. Burial, Price City Cemetery.


Desiderio Sandoval


PRICE – Desiderio Albert Sandoval, age 57, passed away April 18, 2005, at home while surrounded by his family.
Born April 20, 1947, in Price to Seledon and Albertina Jacquez Sandoval.
Member of Notre Dame Catholic Church where he was in the Knights of Columbus. “Lelo” was a caring person who loved helping others. As a member of Matt Warner Chapter of the Clampers, he enjoyed helping with Sub for Santa and the American Cancer Relay for Life. He will be dearly missed by his family and a community of friends.
Survived by daughter, Jeanette Kouris; grandson, Alex Kouris, both of Chicago, Ill.; sisters, Lydia (Gilbert) Manzanares, Price; Viola (Armando) Galindo, Stanton, Calif.; Bernie Ellison, Chicago, Ill.; brothers, Seledon “Sal” Sandoval, Phoenix, Ariz.; Eddie Sandoval, Fullerton, Calif.; Frank Jacquez, Grand Junction, Colo.; one aunt, two uncles, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by parents, and infant son.
Funeral Mass Saturday, April 23, 10 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service Friday evening, 7 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Friday and Saturday one hour prior to service.
