The Dinos started the first inning off right, scoring three runs. They continued by scoring another run in the second, three in the fifth and two in the sixth.
Delta High School remained scoreless until the third inning, and didn’t score again until the sixth.
Pitcher Chris Hatch threw for all seven innings, allowing only four hits, while Carbon had 10 hits on the Rabbits.
Nick Nielson hit the only homer while Mike Zaccaria and Tyler Thompson both had triple-base hits for Carbon, with doubles by JJ Blue, Aaron Sandoval, Joe Via and Chase Julian. Delta hit one triple.
