The Carbon High girls basketball team will start defense of their state championship with a game on Nov. 22 against Beaver High School.
Because they won the state 3A crown last season, they will be playing in the Hall of Fame game in which they are pitted against the 2A Lady Beavers.
On Jan. 5 they begin Region 8 play as they take on the Granite Lady Farmers in Salt Lake.
All varsity games are played at 7 p.m. in the Dinogym, with the exception of a game against Central High (Colorado) at CEU which will be played at 6:30 p.m. and a game against Snow Canyon on Dec. 31 which will take place at noon.
