Tumbling team competes in Spanish Fork tournament

Kaylee Davis received the prestigious “Athlete of the Year” award, while Ashlee Gutierrez received the “High Point” award at the state meet on May 14.

A local Tumbling and Trampoline Team competed at a state power tumbling and trampoline meet that was held in Spanish Fork on Saturday, May 14.
Kaylee Davis took first for power tumbling, third for double-mini trampoline and second for trampoline. Davis also received the prestigious “Athlete of the Year” award, and had a yearly combined total of 351.3 points.
Ashlee Gutierrez took first, second and second places and also received the “High Point” award at state and had 115.9 points.
Also placing at state were the following students, Canessa Montoya, first in two events and seventh in another; Niki King, first in three events; Shaylie Winward, second, first and first; Reagan Harrison, sixth, fourth and second; Tiffany Johnson, third, second and first; Miranda Averett, first in two events and fourth in another; Kelcy Santistevan, first in two events and fourth in another; BreyAnna Coleman, first in two events and third in another; and Karen Moosman fourth, third and first.
The team also received six team awards, double-mini tramp, first, first and second; trampoline, first; and power tumbling first and second.
