Before Thelma Wright could enjoy the carnations and visit she had to check out the miniature horse’s teeth which had come to visit. Gary, the horse, owned by Jessica Hardy, was one of about a dozen animals that visited the care center when members of PAWS, an Active Re-Entry program, made a Valentine’s Day stop at the Parkdale Care Center Monday.In addition to Gary, the “little” horse, there was a couple large dogs, a fuzzy rabbit, and a variety of breeds of other dogs. The PAWS animals are frequent visitors to the area’s senior centers and libraries.
