Hole-in-one at Carbon Country Club golf course
Robert Cox made a hole-in-one on the sixth hole of the Carbon Country Club golf course on June 15.
Cox was hitting from the white tees when he made the 146-yard ace with a nine iron.
The shot was witnessed by Robert Cox Jr., Mike Martinez and Tony Pinedo.
Three-day rock climbing workshop
Carbon County Recreation will be hosting a three-day rock climbing workshop, beginning June 22 and ending on June 24.
Participants will learn about equipment and techniques in a classroom session, followed by climbing wall practice on the second day of the workshop.
The third day will incorporate real climbing experience in Spring Canyon.
