Steve Yamaguchi
PRICE – Yoneo Steven Yamaguchi, 61, passed away Dec. 12, 2004.
He was born June 10, 1943 in Price to Shigeta and Midori Tadehara Yamaguchi Sr. Married the love of his life, Josie Espinoza, on Oct. 16, 2004.
Steve proudly served his country in the Vietnam War.
His passion was taking off on his Harley Davidson with his wife and friends at the spur of the moment. He also enjoyed fishing, old cowboy movies, going to Wendover, shooting his pistol and “chicken and rice.”
His laughter and sense of humor were an unmistakable part of his exceptional character.
Steve was a big man with a gentle soul who is loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Survived by wife, Josie; children, Y. Steven (Sharon) Yamaguchi Jr., Price; S. Ryan Yamaguchi, Salt Lake City; Steven Espinoza, New York; Nikki (Jonathan) Vasquez, Price; granddaughter, Kristina Yamaguchi, Carbonville; siblings, Bill (Jan) Tadehera, Seattle, Wash.; Akemi Vicki (J.D.) Bailey, New Jersey; Roy (Ruth) Yamaguchi, New York; Ted (Kayla) Yamaguchi, South Jordan; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members. Preceded in death by his parents; and brother, S. Roger Yamaguchi.
Funeral services Friday, Dec. 17, 1 p.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service Interment, Price City Cemetery.
Butch O’Hearon
WELLINGTON – Our loving son, brother, uncle and wonderful friend to many, Grady Eugene O’Hearon, age 59, passed away Dec. 11, 2004 in Wellington.
Born July 2, 1945 in Price to Grady Lee and Elnora Louise Brown O’Hearon.
Butch was a longtime resident of Carbon County and member of the Price First Baptist Church.
He loved fishing, playing cards, country music, watching movies and the stock car races. He also enjoyed latch hooking, painting and sharing time with his family and friends.
He will be dearly missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him.
Survived by mother, Louise O’Hearon, Price; sister, Tanya L. Skinner and Rudy Santistevan, Helper; Rick L. O’Hearon, Ted (Jana) O’Hearon, sister-in-law, RoseMary O’Hearon, all of Price; dear friend, Greg; special caregivers, Ed and Jerry Chavez, and their choice staff, Judy, Linda, Arnie, Sam and Jessica, all of Wellington; Richard (Diane) Wymer and their staff in Roosevelt. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, wonderful friends and staff at the Castle Valley Center in Price.
Funeral service Wednesday, Dec. 15, 11 a.m., Price First Baptist Church, located at 200 North 300 East. Family will be at the church Wednesday one hour prior to service. Friends are welcome at Mitchell Funeral Home daily. Interment, Price City Cemetery

John Beacco
PRICE – John Beacco passed away Dec. 10, 2004 in Price.
He was born Sept. 30, 1927 in Price to Bastista and Filamina (Mongett) Beacco. In 1954, he married Cherie Nyman, later divorced. Married Carrol (Wright) Peirce in August 1976 in Las Vegas, Nev.
As a young man, he worked in the coal mines and served in the Army Air Corps as a mechanic during World War II. He also drove a semi between Price and California. He owned and operated John’s Distributing Co.
He was involved in many organizations including the Elks, where he was a lifelong member, and also the American Legion.
He was also past president of the Utah Beer Wholesalers Association.
An avid outdoorsman, he loved trapshooting, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association and the National Rifle Association.
John is survived by wife, Carrol; two children, Kimberly (Michael) Beacco Nelson and Fritze Nyman Beacco, both of Salt Lake City; eight stepchildren, Bill Peirce, Cathy Child, Cindy (Dave) Halverson, Bobby (Lisa) Peirce, Barry Peirce, Connie (Dean) Julian, Carolyn (Frankl) Sanderson and Cherie (Guy) Mills, all of Price; four grandchildren, Nicole Cherie Nelson, Michael John Nelson, Kylie Rose Beacco, Heston Fritz Beacco, and one great granddaughter, all of Salt Lake; 19 stepgrandchildren and fiveand one-half stepgreat-grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers, Tony (Emma) Beacco of Price; Louie (Kay) Beacco of Marquette, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Dominic; and sister, Mary.
Services will be Tuesday, Dec. 14, 11 a.m., at Fausett Mortuary in Price. Friends are invited to call one hour prior to services.

Alro Christensen
KENILWORTH/CARMICHAEL, Calif. – Alro Max Christensen passed away Dec. 7, 2004 at his home in Carmichael, Calif.
He was born in Kenilworth on Nov. 6, 1924.
Arlo is survived by children, Gary, Susan, Collie and Stacy. Also survived by sisters, Cleo, Mahalia, Zola and Darlene.
