Carbon County recreation has a limited number of ice skates and cross country skis available for rent.
The rentals are available anytime the office is open (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at 90 North 100 East Room 145.
The equipment may be used anywhere in Carbon County, but for those unaware there is an ice skating pond between the county fairgrounds and the motocross track.
Recreation also has other winter gear as well such as snowshoes, gear sleds, avalanche equipment and other items as well. For more info call 637-5092
