Nadine Truscott
HELPER – Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Nadine D. Truscott, age 79, passed away Sept. 12, 2004 in Sandy.
Born Feb. 5, 1925 in Bellingham, Wash., daughter of John William Dayley Jr. and Nina Pearl Bunnell. She married her soul mate, Lowell D. Truscott, on Oct. 11, 1946 in Salt Lake City.They made their home in Helper.
She worked in the local banks in both Helper and Price and as office manager for Dr. Phelps.
Her number one priority in life was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. The most precious moments in her life were being with her family.
She loved to dance with her husband, loved her childrenand loved to spoil her grandchildren.
She was the definition of a “lady.”
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by son, Lowell Dee Truscott Jr.; daughter, Alane T. (Brent) Marriott; grandchildren, Lindsey Truscott, Rhet Lynn Marsing, Mikael Marie (Ashton) Eldridge, McKenzie Ann Marsing and JD Marriott; and sister, Margaret Lehner. She was preceded in death by husband, Lowell; and brother, John Dayley.
Graveside services will be Saturday, 1:30 p.m. at the Helper City Cemetery under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
Kevin K. Conway
PRICE – Kevin K. Conway, 52, died at home in Kaysville, Sept. 8, 2004 after battling cancer for six years.
He was born Aug. 28, 1952 in Springfield, Ill., to Johnie and Roberta Conway. He married Karla Bergquist in Roosevelt, on Feb. 16, 1980.
Kevin grew up in Bath, Ill., and moved to Logan in 1972, where he graduated from USU in game management.
Kevin spent 30 years with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, starting as a conservation officer in the Roosevelt District. He moved to Carbon County in 1981 as the investigator, then became lieutenant for the southeastern region. He took the captain’s job in SLC in 1996, accepted the offer to assistant director in 1997 and, in 2002, was appointed division director.
Kevin is survived by wife; daughters, Erin Kimberly and Karrie Ann; mother, Roberta, Bath, Ill.; brothers, Alan, Roosevelt; David, Bath, Ill.; and sister, Lynn Wright, Oxford, Iowa. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, John Mark; older sister, Ann; and father.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 25, 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Roosevelt Memorial Park, Sept. 25, at 4 p.m.

Floyd McKee
PRICE – Floyd McKee, 82, of Price, passed away Sept. 8, 2004.
Born April 7, 1922, son of Bert and Eliza May Sherman McKee. He married Reva Gordon Marshall McKee on June 26, 1955 in Salt Lake City.
Floyd was a member of the LDS Church.
He served four years in the U.S. Navy and retired from Utah Power & Light in 1986.
He enjoyed traveling with the Good Sam’s and prospecting.
He is survived by wife of 51 years; one son, Kim (Laurie) McKee of Kemmerer, Wyo.; three stepchildren, Bob (Beth) Marshall of Huntington; Donna (Garth) Stokes of West Jordan; Pam (Tom) Brereton of Castle Dale; two sisters, Velma Anderson of Carbonville; Hazel McMullin of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two grandsons, Christopher Brereton and Robert June Marshall; three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 13, at the Spring Glen LDS Chapel. Interment, Huntington Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
