The College of Eastern Utah Lady Eagles volleyball team lost to the Salt Lake Community College Bruins on Sept. 24 at home.
The Lady Bruins beat CEU in three straight games, 30-13, 30-12 and 30-19.
CEU continues to hover near the bottom of the Scenic West Athletic Conference rankings with a 4-11 record.
Salt Lake remains the sixth best team in the nation, according to the National Junior College Athletic Association polls, with a 23-5 season record. The Lady Bruins are currently 3-0 in SWAC play.
The Lady Eagles will travel to Snow College on Oct. 1 to face the Lady Badgers. Snow College is also struggling this season with a 7-9 record and no SWAC wins. The team will follow with an Oct. 2 match against Dixie College.
