Clyde Huntington
SUNNYSIDE – Clyde Evan Huntington, age 60, passed away Sept. 5, 2004 at his home.
Born Oct. 13, 1943 in Price to Hyrum A. and Melva E. Henrie Huntington. Married Robyn Ann Casella in 1963 in Elko, Nev.; they later divorced.
Longtime resident of Carbon County and graduate of East Carbon High School Class of 1963. Worked in various coal mines in the area and was a retired member of the United Mine Workers of America, Kaiser Local 9958. He was a man of great ambitions and he always had many projects in the works. Clyde was presently employed with Sunnyside City. He was an avid horseman, outdoorsman and he had a great love for animals and square dancing. Clyde was well respected and loved by all who knew and loved him. He will be dearly missed by all.
Survived by loving companion, Patsy Nielsen, Sunnyside; sons, Lonnie C. Huntington, Wendover; Sean E. Huntington, Salt Lake City; three brothers, Melvin A. (Roxie) Huntington, Ferron; D.K. Huntington, Sunnyside; Kenneth (Karen) Huntington, Atchison, Kans.; four sisters, Ramona (Darrel) Monson, Ogden; Connie (David) Paxman, Cedar Hills; Phyllis (Richard) Maggio, Green River, Wyo.; Alice (Randy) Ferguson, Las Vegas, Nev.; and grandsons, Sage Evan and Chase Avery Huntington. Preceded in death by parents; and son, Mikie K. Huntington.
Funeral service Saturday, Sept. 11, 11 a.m., East Carbon LDS Ward Chapel. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church Saturday one hour prior to service. Interment, Valley View Cemetery.
Phebe Judd
Springville – Phebe C. (Carol) Booth Judd, 92, died on Sept. 5, 2004 at the home of her son Gary, surrounded by her sons and other family members. She was born Oct. 15, 1911 in Daniel to Zadock and Mary Luella Anderson Bethers.She married Melvon L. Booth, Aug. 17, 1935. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
After his passing, Sept. 27, 1972, she married Stanley R. Judd, on Jan. 15, 1976. He died March 19, 1995.
She is survived by sons; Jack L. Booth (Lois) West Valley City; Gary M. Booth (Sharra) Springville; step daughters, Joyce Jones (Keith) and Charlotte Greener (Dennie) both of Bellevue, Wash., Marilyn Manwaring (Verdon) of Vernal; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 21 step-grandchildren, 44 step-great-grandchildren, 13 step-great-great-grandchildren; sister, Millie Gurr (Earl) of Provo; and brother, Allen Bethers, of Daniel.
She was preceded in death by parents, sister, Ruby Plummer and brother, Rex Bethers.
Funeral services Friday, Sept. 10, noon, at the Springville Kolob LDS Stake Center, 1250 South 500 East, Springville. Friends may call at the Stake Center from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery, under the direction of Berg Mortuary of Provo.
Saundra Richardson
SALT LAKE CITY – Saundra Kay (Martinez) Richardson, loving daughter and dedicated mother returned to her Heavenly Father on Sept. 1, 2004.
Born June 28, 1972 in Salt Lake City, to Efren Martinez and Lynda Garcia Martinez.
Raised in Salt Lake City.
She is survived by daughter, Gina Michelle Richardson. Also survived by sisters, Effie (Martinez) Laub, Bucyrus, Ohio; Destini Martinez, Salt Lake City; beloved soul mate, Korosh Keyvani, Salt Lake City; eight nephews and one niece; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by sister, Victoria Lynn (Martinez) Turpin.
We love you Sandy and we will miss your beautiful smile.
