Steven and Lori Price announce the marriage of their daughter, Melissa Kay Childs, to Jason Larry Wood, the son of Larry and Elaine Wood.
The couple will be married Jan. 24 in the Mt. Timpanogos LDS Temple.
A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor that evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the community center at the Carbon County Fairgrounds.
Melissa and Jason will make their home at Camp Pendleton, Calif., where Jason is stationed in the United States Marine Corps.

Mary Alena Cunningham and Stuart Russell Telford have chosen Jan. 24 to be married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor that evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m at the LDS Chapel located at 100 W. 400 South, Orem. A second reception is planned Jan. 31 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 860 N. Fairway Drive, Washington.
The bride is the daughter of Dave and Lanore Cunningham. Parents of the groom are Daryl and Shannon McKnight and Jay and Kimberly Telford.
