Carbon Rodeo members receive buckles
The Carbon Rodeo team competed in the Panguitch Invitational Rodeo on July 21-24.
The rodeo was open to all contestants which qualified for their state finals. The members were competing against members from Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Arizona and California. There were three go-arounds total. The average on two head determined who would qualify for the short go which took place Saturday, July 24.
Jeremy Noyes came in tied for first in the average for the bareback riding and ended up bringing home the second place buckle.
McKet Young began the event in fourth in the breakaway and ended up third.
Young also placed 14th in the barrels, which just missed the average for the short go in the event.
