Smoke from a wildfire near Levan more than 100 miles away drifts over Carbon County, producing a strange eerie glow as the sunlight filtered through the haze. Many Carbon residents initially thought the fire was in the Scofield or Hiawatha area. By Tuesday morning, the local skies were clear of the smoke.
