Ricky Cook has been landscaping for the past 10 years and decided to expand his business to a full-blown nursery. Eastern Utah Nursery and Landscape opened May 8 and offers native plants, shrubs, trees and flowers, vegetable plants, shredded bark, topsoil, soil preparation and mulch. He is offering 10 percent off all shrubs on May 29 in honor of Memorial Day.
Cook has been working with local people designing their yards and gardens and knows the trees and shrubs that grow best in this area. Besides a full range of plants Eastern Utah Nursery and Landscaping also offers ideas for landscaping and can install sprinkler systems, vinyl or chain link fencing and cement edging.
Cook’s nursery business is located at 264 South Carbon Avenue and can be reached by calling 637-5762.
