Classic Corvettes stop to refuel at local gas pumps on June 23. Reminiscent of the 1973 gas crisis, the lines at the pumps occurred because more than 500 of the vehicles traveled through the area on the way a celebration in Bowling Green, Ky., commemorating the Corvette’s first year of sales, 1953.
