Two Carbon County residents pay their respects to a loved one who has passed away. Each year during a Memorial Day celebration, white crosses and American flags are put on display in memory of the veterans who have lost their lives and once resided in the Helper area. Typically, Memorial Day is thought of as the first big holliday weekend of the summer, but many still remember the holiday for what it was designated for by visiting local cemetaries and decorating graves. Currently, local cemetaries are lined with bright and cheerful flowers.
