County road crews focus on paving an extension of the Spring Canyon Trail on Tuesday in preparation for heavy summer use. Carbon County and Helper city plan to connect the canyon trail with the Price River Parkway so residents can use the pathways with ease. Officials remind residents and visitors that the trails are designated for non-motorized use only, even though the paths appear to have a perfect paved surface for motorcycles and all-terrain recreational vehicles. The trail features natural and historical sights as well as amenities like restrooms.
