Children participate in a 911 awareness program at Hidden Valley apartments. The public safety dispatch center is working with the local housing authority in hosting the activities to teach youth the importance of 911 assistance. Dispatchers Becky Jennings and Buzz Rondinelli instruct the youth, while Mikey the 911 dinosaur assists with storytelling. Courses will be offered Aug. 1 at Hillside Villa in Price and Aug. 2 at Foxborough Apartments in Wellington. Children of all ages are encouraged to attend.
