Positioned high above the ground, a fireman attempts to extinguish a Saturday night blaze that destroyed half of the Book Cliff Motel in Green River. On Monday, Emery County sheriff’s deputies continued to search for a woman who had rented a room and is suspected of starting the fire following an apparent domestic dispute with a truck driver. According to investigators, the blaze caused an estimated $3 million in damage to the motel. The fire was reported at 6:02 p.m. and quickly spread from the room where it started to other sections of the motel. A truck driver, who had rented the room with the woman earlier in the day, left after the dispute and was later located traveling through Wellington. The trucker provided information and a description of the woman.
