Nielson Construction start removing the deck of the bridge at Wilberg Wash on Oct. 16 as part of the Utah Department of Transportation project to create passing lanes along an approximately one-mile stretch of State Road 10 from milepost 41 to 42.5. Traffic will be diverted east and west around the bridge on recently created passing lanes. Once the deck is removed, crews will fill and asphalt the box culvert under the bridge. The deck removal portion of the project is scheduled to last through the week with paving operations scheduled to begin Oct. 21. Trucks will be entering and leaving the highway at different areas of the project and motorists are urged to drive carefully and be prepared to stop. The speed limit during the portion of the Wilberg Wash project will be 35 miles per hours.
