Michelle Cannon
Michelle Jensen Cannon recently graduated from University of Utah with a doctorate degree in chemistry.
Her doctoral research involved the design and investigation of fluorescent molecules that may be helpful in detecting breast cancer and metastatic disease.
She received the 2001 Cheves T. Walling Graduate Research Award.
Michelle graduated from Carbon High School in 1992, College of Eastern Utah in 1994 and Brigham Young University in 1997.
She is working as a postdoctoral scientist at the U of U center for biomo-lecular interaction analysis.
Michelle is the daughter of Michael and Camille Jensen. She is married to George Cannon.
Santina Gray
Santina Gray, the daughter of Toni Scavo Gray and the late Jon Gray and the granddaughter of Mary Scavo, recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with degrees in business honors and marketing and a minor in finance. She graduated summa cum laude with a 3.97 grade point average, ranking her number 29 in a class of 702 Red McComb Business School students.
Santina accepted a job from Granton marketing, a promotional advertising firm for a professional sports and entertainment venues. The firm has more than 14,000 offices worldwide and operates in 19 countries. Santina is training to manage the Austin office.
