Carbon School District’s Helper Junior High is undergoing major renovation during summer 2002. Local residents who drive by are often surprised to see the windows on the second story removed and pieces of metal scattered across the front lawn at the school. In the back of the building, construction crews are removing the windows of the junior high school’s library and cafeteria. In addition, the interior of the building is undergoing major renovation and remodeling work. The school will be ready for the arrival of junior high students in the fall.
