Two large cranes hover over a collapsed third crane while cleaning up the damage on and near the College of Eastern Utah campus in Price. On July 30 at approximately 7:45 a.m., a crane operated by Jacobsen Construction fell across the construction site and onto 400 North. Crews immediately started removing the derrick to clear the road and, during the day, two larger cranes came from Salt Lake to upright the fallen construction equipment. After taking care of the derrick , the large cranes began to remove the outriggers and heavy devices from the wrecked machine. But darkness halted the effort. At around 9 a.m. on Aug. 1, the machine was brought back into an upright position and removed from the scene of the mishap later that day.
