Abajo Mountains: Good conditions
Monticello Lake, Lloyds Lake and Blanding Reservoir Nos. 3 and 4 have all been stocked with over 1,000 rainbow trout averaging about 10 inches long in the past two months. (06-26-18)
Benches Pond: Fair conditions
Fishing is fair at Benches Pond, but better early in the morning or later in the evening. The pond was stocked with 2,000 rainbow trout in May. Try using worms, PowerBait or spinners. Garlic PowerBait has worked especially well. Benches Pond was stocked on June 13 with 500 10-inch rainbow trout. (06-26-18)
Boulger Reservoir:
Fair conditions
Fishing is fair in the afternoon, but better early in the morning or later in the evening. Boulger Reservoir was stocked with 2,500 rainbow trout during May and June. (06-26-18)
Carbon County Community Fishing Pond: Good conditions
The Carbon County Community Fishing Pond has been stocked with about 5,500 rainbow trout so far this year. It was stocked most recently on June 13. Try using nightcrawlers or PowerBait to catch fish here. (06-26-18)
Cleveland Reservoir: Good conditions
The fishing for rainbow trout has been good — especially if you can get out on a float tube. If you’re using fly tackle, try using a medium sinking line with a plum leech, a black and orange woolly bugger or a brown, green and pearl crystal bugger all with a bead head. Most of the fish have been caught in 10 to 20 feet of water, which is well within casting distance from the shore. Cleveland Reservoir was stocked with about 5,000 rainbow trout in late May. Duck Fork Reservoir: Fair conditions
Anglers are catching tiger trout between 14 and 18 inches before noon using bead head soft hackle flies in black, red and blue or black, green and pearl. (06-26-18)

Fishing for kokanee salmon has been slow.

Fairview Lakes: Good conditions
Fairview Lakes were stocked with about 7,000 rainbow trout on May 18. Try using worms, PowerBait or spinners. (06-26-18)
Ferron Reservoir: Fair conditions
Anglers have caught rainbow and cutthroat trout using bead head soft hackle flies in black, red and blue or black, green and pearl. A recent gillnet survey found some brook trout as long as 18 inches. Ferron Reservoir was stocked with 2,000 rainbow trout on June 4. (06-26-18)
Gigliotti Pond: Good conditions
Gigliotti Pond has been stocked with about 3,000 fish so far this year. Most recently, it was stocked on June 13. Try using nightcrawlers or PowerBait for catching rainbow trout. (06-26-18)
Gooseberry Reservoir: Good conditions
Gooseberry Reservoir was stocked with 2,500 rainbow trout on May 29. Try using worms, PowerBait or spinners.

Grassy Lake: Good conditions
The water level is rising back to normal levels at Grassy Lake. Anglers have had success catching tiger trout using white jigs and spinners. (06-26-18)

Huntington Game Farm Pond: Good conditions
Try using worms or PowerBait for catching rainbow trout here. Small flies may work well for catching bluegill. The Huntington Game Farm Pond was stocked with 500 rainbow trout on May 15. (06-26-18)
Huntington North Reservoir: Good conditions
Anglers have had success catching rainbow trout and wiper using a size 6 bead head crystal bugger in brown, green and pearl colors. Using jigs to fish for wipers has been less effective lately. (06-26-18)
Huntington Reservoir: Good conditions
Fishing is best when you can get out on a boat or a float tube, and away from the shoreline. With fly tackle, anglers have been successful using size 6 and 8 bad head green tinsel leeches, brown, green and pearl crystal buggers, and plum leeches with a purple tail. The tiger trout have been between 13 and 19 inches long. (06-26-18)
Joes Valley Reservoir: Fair conditions
Fishing has been fair at Joes Valley Reservoir. Try using jigs tipped with chub meat or crankbaits to catch trout and tiger muskies. Anglers have also had some luck catching cutthroat trout using size 4 bead head crystal buggers in black and silver and black, red and blue color combinations on fast-sinking fly line. (06-26-18)
Knight-Ideal Community Fishing Pond:  Good conditions
The Knight-Ideal Community Fishing Pond has been stocked with about 3,000 rainbow trout so far this year, the most recent stocking happening on June 13. Try using nightcrawlers or PowerBait for catching trout and bluegill. (06-26-18)
La Sal Mountains:  Good conditions
Kens Lake and Rattlesnake Ranch Pond, as well as several others on the La Sal Mountains, were stocked recently with several thousand rainbow trout averaging about 10 inches in length. (06-26-18)
Lower Fish Creek: Good conditions
Fishing below the dam at Scofield Reservoir is good if you’re looking to catch chubs. Lower Fish Creek was also stocked with more than 16,000 4-inch brown trout on June 20. Try using worms or soft hackle flies here. (06-26-18)
Miller Flat Reservoir: Fair conditions
Miller Flat Reservoir is accessible, but only by approaching Miller Flat Road from the west. (06-26-18)
Petes Hole: Good conditions
Petes Hole was stocked with 800 rainbow trout on May 24 and again on June 11 with 1,400 trout. Try using worms, PowerBait or spinners. (06-26-18)
Potters Ponds: Good conditions
Potters Ponds were both stocked with 1,000 rainbow trout on June 5. Try using worms or PowerBait to catch fish. (06-26-18)
Scofield Reservoir: Good conditions
Anglers are catching mostly cutthroat trout from the shore using worms, PowerBait, spinners and soft hackle flies in tan, green and pearl or midnight fire. Anglers have also been catching cutthroat trout using white or pearl sparkle tube jigs tipped with chub meat. Yellow garlic PowerBait has worked well for rainbow trout. Fishing has been pretty fast from the Walk-in Access area using a full bubble with Pistol Pete’s and Jakes spinner lures. Scofield Reservoir was stocked with 12,000 8-inch cutthroat trout on April 18.

Soup Bowl: Good conditions
Soup Bowl was stocked with 350 rainbow trout on May 24 and again on June 11 with about 700 trout. Try using worms, PowerBait or spinners for catching these. (06-26-18)
Straight Canyon Creek: Good conditions
Anglers have had success catching brown trout using soft hackle flies in Straight Canyon Creek. Anglers may catch more fish near the Joes Valley Dam, but the larger brown trout are further downstream. (06-26-18)
Willow Lake: Good conditions
Willow Lake is now accessible. A recent gillnet survey yielded some healthy tiger trout. Try using spinners or tube jigs to catch fish. (06-26-18)
Wrigley Springs Reservoir: Good conditions
Wrigley Springs Reservoir was stocked with 780 10-inch rainbow trout on June 6. Try using worms or PowerBait to catch fish. (06-26-18)
