Velma Dimick

    PRICE- Velma Lois Winn Dimick, age 88, passed away peacefully May 31, 2018.
    She was born March 10, 1930 in Price, Utah to Ralph John and Essie Doss Winn.
    Married Paul L. Dimick May 22, 1948 in Carbon County.  He passed away March 6, 2008.
    Velma was a full time homemaker.  Her pies, bread and cookies have been a favorite to all that visited.  She made quilts for every member of the family and then some.  Thanksgiving was her favorite and she could cram 65 to 70 people into a small home to share good eats and loving memories.  It is so hard to summarize so many memories.  She loved her family and took care of us all.  She patched up skinned knees and boo-boo’s with a band aid and a kiss for all the kids in the neighborhood.  We will miss you mom!
    Survived by her children, Paula (Ralph) Baughman, Farr West, Utah, Reid W. Dimick, Price, Scott (Shannon) Dimick, Price, Marian (Jay) Dimick Brown, Salina; siblings, Craig (Grace) Winn, Salt Lake City, Elaine (Jim) Winn Lindsey, Brigham City, Sally (Arval) Winn Rhinehart, Duck Creek Village; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren to many list.
    Preceded in death by her parents, Ralph John and Essie Winn; husband, Paul L. Dimick; son, Aaron Dall Dimick; brothers, John, Mark, Richard Winn; sister, Pauline Whipple.
    Funeral service, Tuesday, June 5, 2018, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.  Interment, Price City Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
