A woman already facing serious felony drug charges stemming from a July bust inside a local motel was arrested again on Sunday.
Krystal Noyes, 31, was pulled over in a 2003 Acura during a traffic stop on Main Street.
Alert Price police officers noted a large amount of cash in the woman’s purse during the stop. Allegedly spotted sitting next to the cash, was a tooter, or a smoking device.
The cash and drug paraphernalia allegedly gave police probable cause to search the woman’s car.
The search yielded a cache of drugs and paraphernalia, including more than two ounces of methamphetamine, more than an ounce of heroin, an ounce of marijuana, assorted pills, pipes and about $2,600 in cash.
Noyes is known for keeping notes of her business dealings, as police discovered ledgers in her possession when she was arrested on similar drug charges in July. This time police also discovered a ledger. A notation inside even noted the cash purchase of the Acura Noyes was driving.
Police plan to file a civil forfeiture case to take possession of the cash and the car, according to a press release on the matter.
Noyes was booked into the Carbon County Jail on multiple felony drug possession and distribution charges.
Police noted that court records indicate this was Noyes’ 10th arrest. Police also pointed out that Noyes has two open distribution cases pending in 7th District Court and yet has been released twice on her own recognizance this year.
In July she and another person were allegedly caught with more than five ounces of meth and a similar amount of heroin as well as $2,400 in cash.
