The Grand County Red Devils traveled to Morgan Friday night for each team’s season opener.
Morgan jumped out to a 35-0 lead highlighted by a Grand fumble returned 30 yards for a touchdown by Morgan’s Bernon Sanders.
Grand had no answer for Porter Giles or Carter Thackeray, both had two scores for the Trojans.
Grand’s lone touchdown of the game was an impressive 62-yard touchdown run by Jimmy Johnson.
Final score: Grand 6, Morgan 42.
Grand will look to rebound Friday night for their home opener against the Emery Spartans.
