I would like to thank the people of Carbon County for the North Springs Shooting Range.
I live in South Dakota. I try to spend a few weeks in Price every summer so I can shoot at the range and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty on the days when the range is closed.
This year I was able to spend five weeks in a hospitable hotel in Price. The range personnel were friendly and welcoming, as always, and the facilities were top notch.
Before I discovered North Springs, I thought that 300 yards was a long shot. Now I am a much better long range marksman. The variety of venues, and the setup of each area make it fun to practice. There is no sweeter sound to my ear than a gong ringing at long range, but when I miss, the stretched-out silence is unfortunate.
