Rodeo competes in Carbon, Emery

The Carbon Rodeo Club hosted the Carbon High School Rodeo this past weekend, and also traveled to the Emery High School Rodeo in Castle Dale.
At Carbon on Friday, Kolton Rhodes took first place in rifle shoot with a score of 329.0. Also in rifle shoot, Hagen Campbell took fourth with a score of 310.0, Kagen Rhodes took seventh with a score of 293.0 and Casey Rich took 16th with a score of 167.0.
Sierra Edwards placed third in pole bending with a time of 21.070 and 24th in breakway roping with a time of 5.900. She also participated in barrel racing. Sadie Waller placed 33rd in pole bending with a time of 23.394 and 69th in barrel racing with a time of 18.684. Morgan Jensen placed 15th in barrel racing with a time of 17.009 and 81st in pole bending with a time of 31.858. Cameron King placed 54th in barrel racing with a time of 18.118, 90th in pole bending with a time of 38.357, 17th in rifle shoot with a score of 165.0, and also participated in breakaway roping. Kortney Backus placed 50th in barrel racing with a time of 17.935 and also participated in pole bending.
At Emery on Saturday, Kolton Rhodes once again took first place in rifle shoot with a score of 325.0 Also in rifle shoot, Hagen Campbell took second with a score of 320.0, Kagen Rhodes took seventh with a score of 303.0, and Casey Rich took 14th with a score of 198.0.
Sierra Edwards placed sixth in pole bending with a time of 20.729, 11th in barrel racing with a time of 17.060 and also participated in breakaway roping. Morgan Jensen placed ninth in barrel racing with a time of 16.936 and 90th in pole bending with a time of 42.086. Sadie Waller placed eighth in reined cow horse with a score of 134.5, 28th in pole bending with a time of 22.511 and 89th in barrel racing with a time of 23.696. Cameron King placed 40th in barrel racing with a time of 18.380, 70th in pole bending with a time of 29.257, 19th in rifle shoot with a score of 139.0 and also participated in breakaway roping. Kortney Backus participated in pole bending and barrel racing and Mia McCourt participated in barrel racing.
